The Miami-Dade County Office of the Tax Collector is one step closer to announcing the winners of the 2025 Kids Tag Art Contest!
Our generous sponsors have completed the judging process, and we can confidently say it was a tough decision. We received a total of 69 entries—each one outstanding! The creativity, imagination, and artistic talent displayed exceeded all expectations.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and most importantly, the young artists behind every submission. We encourage all participants to continue developing their artistic talents, even if their design was not selected this year.
While we wish we could recognize every submission, only three designs could be selected, based on strict criteria including representation of Florida’s lifestyle, creativity, and age appropriateness. The selected artists will be notified through their teachers and invited to attend the unveiling ceremony. At the event, the Office of the Tax Collector will present the funds raised for the art program and the three student winners will receive prizes as a token of our appreciation and recognition.
We invite you to take a moment to thank the sponsors listed below, whose generosity made this contest competition possible but continues to encourage our young artists and dedicated educators across our community.

Kids Tag Art (KTA) is an educational fundraising project that benefits elementary visual arts programs in local elementary schools. The program gives fifth grade students an opportunity to create a unique design that can be made into a front-end license plate, patterned after Florida's hundreds of specialty license plates.
These license plates become available for purchase by family members, friends and the community. Students learn how Florida specialty license plates support various worthy causes across the state. All proceeds are distributed to participating elementary school teachers for their classroom art supplies.
