Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or a related field. A minimum of one year of experience in training and development or a related functions is required. Additional experience may substitute for the required education on a year for year basis.
Description: The Training and Development Specialist designs, delivers, and evaluates training programs that support employee growth and development. This role focuses on building employees’ skills, knowledge, and competencies to enhance their performance and career progression. Key responsibilities include conducting needs assessments, developing tailored training solutions (e.g., workshops, e-learning, videos), and supporting onboarding by introducing new hires to the organization’s policies and culture. The specialist also facilitates orientation sessions, initial training, and follow-up support. This role requires strong facilitation and relationship-building skills to foster continuous learning, professional growth, and employee engagement, contributing to the Office of the Tax Collector’s success.
