Miami, FL – July 1, 2025. Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez is making it easier than ever for local entrepreneurs to stay compliant with business tax requirements. Business owners can now pay, print, and post their local business tax receipts entirely online streamlining the process and saving valuable time.
Beginning in July, local business tax bills will be mailed to all registered businesses in Miami-Dade County. After making their payment, business owners can instantly access and print their official receipt directly from the Tax Collector’s website.
“This is about making government work smarter and faster for our business community,” said Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “Whether you run a storefront or a startup, you deserve a process that’s efficient, transparent, and digital.”
Business owners are encouraged to pay online no later than September 30, 2025. To complete the online renewal process, they will need their local business tax receipt number. The County issues these receipts for a one-year period, beginning on October 1 and expiring on September 30 of the following year.
It is important to note that businesses located within a municipality are required to obtain both a city receipt and a County receipt to remain in compliance with local regulations. To make a payment or retrieve your receipt, scan the QR code above or visit www.mdcTaxCollector.gov.
