Tangible personal property includes physical items such as furniture, fixtures, equipment, and certain structural additions to mobile homes.
TPP taxes are assessed annually based on the value of assets as of January 1. The Property Appraiser determines the assessed value using information reported by each business. Any individual or business in possession of taxable assets on January 1 is required to file a Tangible Personal Property Tax Return by April 1 each year.
