Held on April 8 and 9, the two-day event kicked off with the iconic “Paella Fest” on the Capitol Courtyard and featured a series of meetings, presentations, and networking opportunities aimed at promoting legislative priorities and impactful community initiatives.

“As Miami-Dade County Tax Collector, it was an honor to join fellow leaders in showcasing our county’s achievements and standing up for the needs of our residents,” said Fernandez. “Miami-Dade Days is a powerful platform for collaboration, and together, we continue building a stronger future for all.”

Fernandez was accompanied by key members of his leadership team, including Cire Andino, Intergovernmental Affairs and Outreach Administrator; Gerardo "Jerry" Gomez, Deputy Tax Collector; and Andrew Lopez, Director of Motorist Services. Their collective presence underscored the importance of a unified voice in advocating for effective solutions to issues that impact the quality of life in Miami-Dade County.

Miami-Dade Days continues to serve as a cornerstone event for forging relationships with state lawmakers, sharing policy goals, and ensuring that the voices of Miami-Dade residents are heard at the state level.
