Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez Delivers Community Donations to Support Earthquake Relief in Venezuela

The Miami-Dade County Tax Collector's Office has completed the delivery of community donations collected across its offices in support of families affected by the recent earthquake in Venezuela, marking another milestone in a countywide humanitarian effort led in partnership with Global Empowerment Mission (GEM).

Residents from across Miami-Dade generously donated essential supplies, including food, hygiene products, baby items, and other necessities. The donations were delivered to GEM's South Florida distribution center, where volunteers continue preparing shipments for communities impacted by the disaster.

"Public service extends far beyond the walls of our offices," said Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. "I want to thank every resident who answered the call to help, our dedicated staff who helped coordinate this effort, and the thousands of incredible volunteers at Global Empowerment Mission who have worked around the clock to bring hope to families affected by this tragedy.
