Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez Celebrates Italian National Day and Strengthens International Ties
Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez joined diplomatic leaders, elected officials, business professionals, and community members at The Biltmore Hotel to celebrate Italy’s National Day, recognizing the enduring contributions of the Italian community and the importance of international cooperation.
The event, hosted by Consul General Michele Misto, brought together distinguished guests from across South Florida to celebrate Italy’s rich cultural heritage, history, and longstanding relationship with the United States. The evening highlighted the value of diplomacy, cultural exchange, and the partnerships that continue to strengthen ties between nations.
During the celebration, Fernandez had the privilege of presenting Consul General Michele Misto with an Honorary Citation in recognition of his leadership, diplomatic service, and commitment to fostering stronger connections between Italy, Miami-Dade County, and the United States.
