Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez recently deployed the TConnect Mobile Office to Miami International Airport, delivering essential services directly to the men and women who help keep the airport running safely and efficiently every day.
The on-site visit provided convenient access to services for members of TSA, CBP, and airport employees, many of whom face demanding schedules that make it difficult to visit a traditional office during regular business hours. By bringing services directly to their workplace, the Tax Collector’s Office helped eliminate barriers and save valuable time for those who serve the community on the front lines.
“It is an honor to support the professionals who play such a critical role in the safety and security of our country,” Fernandez said. “Our goal is to meet people where they are and make government services more accessible and efficient.”
The initiative was carried out in collaboration with Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis, further strengthening partnerships aimed at improving service delivery across Miami-Dade County.
Fernandez also expressed his appreciation to TSA, CBP, and all airport personnel for their dedication and commitment, as well as to the TConnect team for their professionalism and continued focus on putting people first.
The visit reflects the ongoing mission of the Miami-Dade County Tax Collector’s Office to modernize services, expand access, and ensure that residents — including those who keep Miami moving — receive the support they need, when and where they need it most.
