The Miami-Dade County Office of the Tax Collector has released its second distribution of the 2025–2026 fiscal year, with Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez announcing that more than  $815,154,049.28 in property tax revenues collected through October 31 have been officially distributed to local governments and taxing authorities.

These early-season revenues are essential to keeping Miami-Dade’s public services operating smoothly. The October distribution includes:

  • $181,298,800.80 to municipalities

  • $325,191,911.79 to the Miami-Dade County School Board

  • $308,663,336.69 to countywide funds, supporting key services and operations

Together, these allocations help ensure that schools continue to run, neighborhoods remain safe, and essential programs across Miami-Dade are funded without interruption.

“Our priority is getting these funds where they’re needed most, quickly and responsibly,” said Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “These distributions help keep our schools open, our neighborhoods safe, and our county moving forward. We are proud to deliver these funds quickly, efficiently, and with complete accountability.”

For perspective, during the previous fiscal year, the Office of the Tax Collector processed and distributed more than $10 billion in property tax revenues to the County, municipalities, and various taxing authorities. This year’s early collections continue that momentum, illustrating the importance of timely payments in supporting community services.

The Tax Collector’s Office will continue issuing distributions throughout the tax season as payments are received and will provide public updates to keep residents informed about how collections are reinvested into vital programs across Miami-Dade County.
