Miami, FL — June 16, 2025. In a continued effort to improve access to essential government services, the Office of the Miami-Dade County Tax Collector, under the leadership of Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez, is proud to announce extended hours of operation across its branch offices.
Starting today, all Tax Collector’s offices will operate under the following expanded schedule:
New Hours of Operation:
Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Saturday (Select Locations): 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
The expanded hours aim to better accommodate working families and individuals who are unable to visit during traditional weekday hours. This initiative is part of Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez’s broader mission to modernize services, reduce wait times, and make government more accessible to all Miami-Dade County residents.
“In order to provide excellent customer service, we are bringing our offices closer to the people—both physically and through more flexible hours,” said Dariel Fernandez, Miami-Dade County Tax Collector. “We understand that many residents juggle work, school, and family responsibilities. Extending our hours is about making their lives easier and showing that government can work for them.”
