Miami-Dade Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez Invites Community to Thanksgiving Turkey Drive at Coral Reef Office

Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez is inviting residents to join him at this year’s Thanksgiving Turkey Drive, taking place Thursday, November 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Coral Reef Tax Collector Office, located at 14653 SW 122nd Ave, Miami, FL 33186.

This community event aims to support families during the holiday season by providing free turkeys on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. The Turkey Drive is part of the Tax Collector’s ongoing effort to make government more community-centered, accessible, and engaged with the residents it serves.

“Thanksgiving is a time to come together and support one another,” said Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “Our team is proud to host this event so families across our community can enjoy a warm holiday meal. We are here to serve, and events like this remind us of the importance of giving back and standing with our neighbors.”

Families attending the event can stop by the Coral Reef office, drive through or walk up, and receive a turkey while quantities last.

Residents are encouraged to arrive early.
