Miami-Dade Tax Collector's TConnect Mobile Office Supports Miami-Dade Transportation and Public Works Employees

The Miami-Dade County Tax Collector’s Office brought its TConnect Mobile Office to Miami-Dade Transportation and Public Works (DTPW), making essential services more accessible for the employees and residents who help keep the county moving every day. For many DTPW workers and visitors, finding time to visit a Tax Collector office during regular business hours can be difficult, making on-site service especially valuable.
By setting up at DTPW, the TConnect team provided convenient access to driver license renewals, identification services, vehicle-related transactions, and tax-related assistance. The mobile visit allowed employees and residents to take care of important government business without stepping away from their work or traveling to another location, saving time and reducing unnecessary delays.
“Our transportation and public works employees play a critical role in keeping Miami-Dade running,” said Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “Bringing TConnect directly to DTPW helps support the people who serve our community every day and ensures that limited time is not a barrier to accessing essential services.”
Fernandez thanked the TConnect team for their professionalism and efficiency, as well as Miami-Dade Transportation and Public Works leadership and staff for their collaboration. The visit reflects a shared commitment to practical solutions that respect residents’ time and improve access to government services.
The TConnect Mobile Office continues to visit workplaces, community centers, and partner locations across Miami-Dade County, ensuring that services reach residents where they are. To learn more about upcoming TConnect locations and services, visit mdctaxcollector.gov.
