Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez Addresses and Receives Recognition from the City of Miami Gardens Commission

Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez addressed the City of Miami Gardens to provide updates on efforts to expand access to essential services across the county. Fernandez shared recent progress and ongoing initiatives aimed at making government services more accessible, efficient, and community-centered.

“Sharing our work with the leaders of Miami Gardens is always an honor,” said Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “We are focused on expanding access, improving efficiency, and supporting families with services that meet their needs. I am grateful for the strong partnerships that allow us to better serve the residents of Miami-Dade.”

During the meeting, both Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez and Clerk of the Court Juan Fernández-Barquín received official recognitions from the City of Miami Gardens. Fernandez expressed his appreciation to Mayor Rodney Harris, Councilman Reggie Leon, and the entire City Council for their leadership, hospitality, and continued collaboration on behalf of the community.

The visit also allowed the Tax Collector’s Office to highlight its ongoing work and reaffirm its commitment to delivering efficient, community-focused service throughout Miami-Dade County. Fernandez emphasized that his priorities remain centered on strengthening access, improving operations, and ensuring residents receive clear, reliable, and transparent service from the Tax Collector’s Office.
