Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez Supports Autism Spectrum Event in City of Miami with Local Partners

Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez, through the TConnect Mobile Office, continues expanding access to essential services by bringing government directly into the community.
In partnership with City of Miami Commissioner Ralph Rosado, the Tax Collector’s Office participated in the 2026 Spectrum Fair, where residents were able to access driver license services, obtain identification cards, and receive assistance with other essential transactions on site.
The event provided an opportunity to engage directly with residents while delivering services in a more convenient and accessible setting. By operating outside of traditional office locations, TConnect helps reduce travel time and removes common barriers that can make it difficult for individuals and families to complete important transactions.
A key focus of the initiative is improving efficiency and accessibility in how services are delivered. By meeting residents where they are, the Tax Collector’s Office is able to streamline processes and ensure that more people can access the services they need without disrupting their daily routines.
“TConnect is about making government work better for the people we serve,” Fernandez said. “By bringing services directly into the community, we are reducing barriers, increasing access, and ensuring residents can take care of important needs quickly and efficiently.”
The continued expansion of TConnect reflects the Tax Collector’s Office’s broader commitment to innovation, accessibility, and customer service. By investing in mobile service delivery, the office is working to create a more responsive and modern approach to serving Miami-Dade County residents.
Fernandez emphasized that expanding access will remain a top priority as the office continues to improve service delivery and meet the evolving needs of the community.
