Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez Partners with Doral Chamber of Commerce for “Cafecito Connection” in Doral

Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez met with Doral residents this morning during a Cafecito Connection hosted at Panna New Latino Food, in partnership with the Doral Chamber of Commerce. The informal gathering offered neighbors an opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and speak directly with the Tax Collector’s team over a cup of coffee.

Residents discussed a range of topics, including property tax payments, driver license renewals, appointment scheduling, and general services provided by the office. The relaxed format allowed for open conversation and quick answers to common questions.

“These cafecitos keep things simple,” said Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “A cup of coffee and an honest conversation can go a long way in helping residents get clarity and feel connected to the services they use.”

The event was made possible with the support of Manny Sarmiento and the Doral Chamber of Commerce, along with the team at Panna New Latino Food, who welcomed residents for the morning meetup.

Fernandez plans to continue hosting Cafecito Connection events in communities across Miami-Dade, with future dates to be announced on mdctaxcollector.gov and the office’s social media channels.
