I am providing an update regarding enforcement actions undertaken as part of my office’s enforcement of Miami-Dade County Ordinance and Florida law requiring the revocation of Local Business Tax Receipts (LBTRs) for businesses engaged in commerce in violation of federal regulations related to Cuba.

The following businesses had their Local Business Tax Receipts (LBTRs) revoked in December after failing to respond to multiple lawful requests for information:

  • Managua Travel Agency Inc. d/b/a Cuba Travel & Services

    3013 E 4 Ave, Hialeah, FL 33013 — BTR#: 7226097

    1478 N Homestead Blvd, Homestead, FL 33030 — BTR#: 7358224

    2607 NW 20 St, Miami, FL 33142 — BTR#: 7340017

  • R & R Logistics Customer Freight Solutions LLC

    5561 NW 72nd Ave, Doral, FL 33166 — BTR#: 7412769

The continued operation in Miami-Dade County by each of these entities without a Local Business Tax Receipt may result in additional enforcement actions, including fines and other legal consequences.
I remain committed to enforcing compliance with applicable laws and upholding the rule of law for all businesses operating within Miami-Dade County.

God bless Miami-Dade County and God Bless the United States of America.
