Statement From Dariel Fernandez On The U.S. Attack Against The Terrorist State Of Iran And President Trump’s Decisive Response To A Nuclear Threat Against Americans And The World

President Trump once again showed the kind of strong, decisive leadership that reminds the world what American strength looks like. When our Commander-in-Chief stands up boldly to defend our troops, protect our allies, and safeguard our national security, it sends a clear message the United States will not be pushed around or threatened by anyone.

Iran remains the world’s top sponsor of terrorism. Its regime has funded violent extremists, targeted the U.S. and Israel, and worked to weaken global stability. We’ve seen that same threat reach into our own backyard, with the communist dictatorships in Cuba and Venezuela partnering with Iran’s terrorist networks to spread chaos in our hemisphere. That’s why strength and moral clarity from Washington are so critical they defend not just world peace, but the freedom and security of our neighbors right here in the Americas.

Above all, I’m thinking today of the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who serve with honor and courage. We thank them, we pray for them, and we will always stand firmly behind them as they defend the greatest country on Earth.
