Miami-Dade County, FL – April 14, 2025 – In a continued effort to modernize public services and enhance accessibility for residents, Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez announces the launch of self-service vehicle registration renewal kiosks at Publix Supermarkets across the county. This initiative places essential government services in convenient, high-traffic community locations, enabling residents to renew and print their vehicle registrations and tag decals in just minutes during their regular shopping visits.
“Our responsibility is to make government more accessible, efficient, and responsive to the needs of our residents,” said Miami-Dade Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “By introducing self-service kiosks in familiar, everyday locations, we are removing barriers and modernizing how residents interact with essential public services. I want to thank Publix for its collaboration and commitment to community service; this partnership is helping us deliver convenience where it matters most.” added Fernandez.
These kiosks—now available in key locations across Miami, Doral, Miami Beach, and Homestead, are designed to make everyday errands more productive by combining convenience with essential government services. Customers need their registration renewal notice PIN or their license plate number along with the registered owner’s birthdate information and a credit card to complete the transaction in two minutes or less. A small convenience fee will apply. No appointment, no waiting, and no trip to the Tax Collector’s office required!
Renewals pending suspensions, toll violations or special requirements can not be processed at the kiosks. For more information visit the Self-Serve kiosks page available in our website or contact the Tax Collector’s Press Office at: press@mdctaxcollector.gov
