Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez recently met with Mayor George Burch and Village Manager Esmond K. Scott of Miami Shores Village to discuss ways to enhance public service delivery and better support local residents.
During the visit, Tax Collector Fernandez reaffirmed his commitment to working hand in hand with municipal leaders to ensure that every resident across Miami-Dade County receives the quality service they deserve. The meeting included a productive dialogue on improving access to essential services such as driver license services, business tax receipt processing, vehicle tag and title services, and property tax payment options.
Special attention was given to exploring enhanced support for seniors and small businesses—key pillars of the community that Fernandez emphasized must be prioritized in service delivery efforts.
“As your Miami-Dade County Tax Collector, I remain dedicated to building strong relationships with local leaders like Mayor Burch and Manager Scott,” said Fernandez. “Together, we are committed to serving every corner of the county with transparency, efficiency, and respect.”
The visit reflects the ongoing efforts of the Tax Collector’s Office to be accessible and responsive to the needs of all Miami-Dade communities.
