Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez Joins Miami Beach Veterans Day Parade to Honor America’s Heroes

The streets of Miami Beach filled with pride and gratitude as residents, veterans, and community leaders came together for the annual Veterans Day Parade, honoring the men and women who have bravely served in the United States Armed Forces.
Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez joined the celebration to pay tribute to those who have defended freedom and democracy at home and abroad.
“It was a privilege to join our Miami Beach residents in honoring the brave men and women who have served our nation,” said Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “Moments like these remind us that our community’s strength comes from unity, gratitude, and respect for those who protect our freedom. My heartfelt thanks to Mayor Steven Meiner, the City Commission, and everyone who helped organize such a meaningful ceremony and parade.”
As the parade moved down Ocean Drive, participants and spectators waved flags and cheered for veterans representing every branch of the military. Fernandez noted the importance of continuing this tradition as a way to bring the community together and recognize the sacrifices that make freedom possible.
“As Miami-Dade County Tax Collector, I’m proud to stand alongside our veterans, their families, and the people of Miami Beach to celebrate their courage and service,” added Fernandez. “Let us continue working together to serve with the same dedication they’ve shown our country. God bless our veterans and the United States of America.”
