Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez recently toured Homestead-Miami Speedway, one of South Florida’s most iconic sports venues.

With NASCAR preparing for the 2026 Championship, the Speedway remains a powerful symbol of Miami-Dade’s leadership in sports, tourism, and business innovation. The visit highlighted how large-scale events like these generate opportunities for local investment, job creation, and long-term community growth.

“Touring Homestead-Miami Speedway was an incredible experience and a great reminder of all the opportunities Miami-Dade has to offer,” said Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “As your Tax Collector, I’m committed to supporting efforts that attract investment, create jobs, and strengthen our county as a place where families and businesses can succeed.”

The Office of the Tax Collector extends its sincere thanks to Speedway President Guillermo Santa Cruz and his team for their hospitality and continued commitment to keeping Homestead-Miami Speedway at the heart of South Florida’s economic and community development.  6c701fa0-dcda-483c-b73f-97dc5dfcbd78-5
