Miami, FL – August 22, 2025.  Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez proudly invites the community to a historic ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the grand opening of the first-ever Tax Collector’s Office in the City of Coral Gables. The event will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at 224 Minorca Avenue, Coral Gables, FL 33134.

This new branch marks the seventh office opened under Fernandez’s administration and a milestone in the 100-year history of Coral Gables, as residents will now have direct access to essential government services without leaving their city.

“This is more than the opening of a new office,” said Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “It is the beginning of a new chapter in the City Beautiful’s history. As Coral Gables celebrates its centennial year, we are honored to bring government closer to the people for the first time, and to provide them with great efficiency, accessibility, and care for essential government services.”

The Coral Gables branch is part of a broader expansion and accessibility initiative launched by Tax Collector Fernandez, dedicated to bringing services closer to every municipality and neighborhood in Miami-Dade County.

Local elected officials, state representatives, community leaders, and members of the media are invited to attend this historic occasion to learn more about the new Coral Gables branch, the transactions it will handle, and the full range of services it will provide to the community.
