Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in the management of tax collection, accounting, financial, or administrative operations to include supervisory experience is required.
Recruitment Notes
Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Fast Payment Processing Division: formulate vision, objectives, metrics, budgets, staffing plans and work‐process redesign to achieve excellence in payment processing. Direct the operations of the Division, providing oversight over 31 FTE positions. Prepare the divisional budget and forecast revenues. Apply knowledge of payment processing procedures for multiple tax types, including ad valorem and non-ad valorem taxes, auto tag registrations, local business taxes, and tourist development taxes. Experience providing high-volume, accurate, and timely payment and mail processing services in a government or financial environment. Familiarity with remittance processing, reconciliation, and banking procedures. Skill in monitoring and improving automation of manual financial processes. Lead change management for payment processing innovations: workflow automation, digital transformation, better data analytics, process redesign. Serve as a senior advisor on payment processing issues: provide analysis, recommendations, reporting to senior leadership, support audits/inspections. Candidate should have thorough knowledge of mail processing services for multiple tax type.
