High school diploma or GED and two years of advanced clerical experience. College credit may substitute for one year of experience (30 credits).
Description:
The service is provided in person, by email, phone, and fax. The Tax Records Specialist main responsibility is to assess, research, and create state and county electronic files and updates for the public. In this capacity you will be interpreting Florida statutes and local rules governing real estate, tangible personal property, local business tax, and Division of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle (DHSMV) transactions. Furthermore, the Tax Records Specialist collects a considerable quantity of taxes in various forms such as checks, cash, and credit cards.
