Minimum Qualifications:

 Bachelor s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. A minimum of four 
years of experience in information technology and systems administration is required. Additional experience may substitute for 
required education on a year-for-year basis.

structured, service-oriented organization. They should be comfortable working in both graphical and command-line 
environments, with demonstrated proficiency in terminal-based system management. A strong attention to detail, along with a 
focus on system reliability, security, and compliance, is essential.
Preferred Technical Competencies
Ideal candidates should have experience administering Windows Server (2019/2022) and Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, 
Debian, CentOS, or Rocky Linux. Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash is required, including the ability to perform administrative 
functions without reliance on graphical interfaces. A solid working knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, 
DHCP, and VLANs, is also required.

Preferred Certifications
Preferred certifications include CompTIA Network+ and Security+, as well as CompTIA Server+ or Linux+.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The incumbent will develop, test, and maintain PowerShell and Bash scripts to automate routine system administration tasks 
and support standardized deployments. Responsibilities include administering and monitoring update cycles for both 
Windows and Linux servers, reviewing system and security logs to identify performance issues and potential risks, and 
supporting compliance with organizational security standards. The role also involves providing support across both Windows 
and Linux environments to ensure consistent configuration, system performance, and security controls. Additionally, the 
incumbent will assist in troubleshooting system issues, responding to service requests, and maintaining documentation to 
support continuity of operations.
